Mitchell was born in Brooklyn and moved to Florida in the mid-seventies. Raised on Led Zeppelin and the Martial Arts, he was like the perfect mix of rock 'n' roll and sushi roll. Imagine Vinnie Barbarino meets Bruce Lee. That was Mitchell. Florida brought a chance to really make a dent when Mitch (with the help of a dear mutual friend of ours) learned and mastered the true art of the Investment Brokerage business, quickly becoming one of the elite of the elites. A business that he still loves today and which has afforded him a fantastic life. Oh yeah... and girls?... let's just say, investing was never what Mitch was really best at. It's the kind of reputation that no one believes, but when you really deserve it, you don't care what anyone believes. Enough said.

Michael was born in small town Canada. He too, was raised on rock 'n' roll and ended up touring his ass off in a big-haired rock band called... oh, never mind - you wouldn't have heard of them, anyway. Think Jon Bon Jovi meets Bruce Lee, only Bruce Lee doesn't show up. He's actually had musical stuff released as far away as Japan and Germany, but you still probably wouldn't have heard of that stuff. Anyway, let's just say that in a business that can make even ugly guys attractive to women, it was a great start to the research for WHY SLEEP ALONE? He also made the trek to Florida, although not until the early 90's, (at the urging of that same mutual friend) giving Mitchell some time to get the lay of the land first and do his own research for WHY SLEEP ALONE? Okay... now, the good stuff. Two single guys, the coolest town to be single anywhere on the planet, a little money, and an acoustic guitar. Add just the right amount of "liquid courage" and the rest is the stuff that no one believes unless they were there. Remember, when it really happens, it doesn't matter if anyone believes it... it happened. I'd go into detail but we'd end up sounding like those guys we've always made fun of and that's not going to happen. When a guy tells me he's slept with 1000 women (not saying that I slept with 1000 women), I rarely believe him either, so who cares? Let's all be gentlemen and say, our track record doesn't mean anything to you and it shouldn't. The only track record you should be focused on is yours and it's not going to get any better sitting here and reading this! You're just going to have to believe that we know something that you don't!
